MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS -

4. Master's Degree.
5. Valid Ohio Administrative certification/licensure.
6. Five to seven years of successful classroom teaching experience preferably at grades 5-6

- Assist in the supervision of certificated staff as directed by the Building Principal.
- Encourage professional growth and development by posting announcements of meetings and encouraging staff to participate in system wide staff development opportunities.
- Utilize all resources of the school system and the community in developing the most effective educational program.
- Support the needs of the teacher.
- Convey high expectations for students, staff and self by rewarding improved performance.
- Assist the Building Principal in working with staff in the area of curriculum development and evaluation.
- Maintain positive relationships with students, parents and teachers.
- Assist the Building Principal in the development of effective inservice programs for staff growth.
- Knows and facilitates effective instructional practices.
- Is familiar with district policies and procedures.
- All other duties as assigned
