The Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a home-improvement thrift store that benefits Habitat for Humanity’s mission! We specialize in donations of furniture, appliances, household goods, and building materials.
We’re seeking professional delivery drivers to help make our donors and customers happy on the route and in the store! You’ll pick up household donations, bring them to the store, and get them ready for sale by cleaning, pricing, and merchandising. This job involves both driving and working in our store.

Set schedule every week - hours are 9:30am-6:00pm
Work-life balance is important to us! There is little to no overtime. We can guarantee 40 hours, 5 days a week.
Saturdays are required. You get every Sunday another weekday off (M-F).
Job variety – time on the truck and in the store
There’s a lot of variety in this place! Every day is different here because each donation is unique!
This isn’t just a driving job – some days you’ll drive the truck, other days you’ll help as a rider, or work in the store. In the store, you'll learn about our business operations by assisting with drop-off donations, pricing and merchandising donations, and providing customer service.
Reasonable workload & no crazy quotas
This job involves some heavy lifting, but we aim for a reasonable pace of work. We send out a team of two (driver helper) for our pickups and provide all the moving equipment you need to stay safe.
You'll make about 6-8 local stops per day when on the truck and work at an engaged but relaxed pace when in the store.

Qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a valid driver’s license (No CDL required) and pass a driving record check
- No convictions related to theft, violence, or sexual assault
- At least 2 years of box truck or light freight experience (driving experience with companies like UPS, Amazon, FedEx, or similar is a plus)
- Preferred experience in loading/unloading your own truck, set-up and installation upon delivery, handling customer interactions, and working in a store or warehouse when not on a route
- Willing and able to do the following: driving a 16ft box truck, some heavy lifting, customer service, pricing and merchandising
- Able to be flexible, take initiative, and self-start
- Able to work in a warehouse adjacent environment and in all types of weather
- Able to maintain a polite, professional demeanor while completing strenuous physical tasks, keeping the route on schedule, and managing changing priorities.
- Able to lift 50lbs. Standing, walking, pushing, pulling, twisting, carrying, bending, reaching, and lifting above and below waist level will be required
