What are the responsibilities and job description for the Evening Adult Training - ESOL Enhanced Advanced Manufacturing Instructor position at Greater Lawrence Technical School?
Instructor(s) for the 300-hour Introduction to Advanced Manufacturing training for unemployed adults who are English Language Learners. The purpose will be to prepare trainees for entry-level positions in machining with local advanced manufacturing employers. The position may be shared by 2 teachers. Training will include advanced manufacturing theory and hands-on practice. Students will receive English language support via EL classes. The teacher will be assisted by an ESOL Paraprofessional in the classroom. Fifteen hours of job-seeking skills training, 20 hours of math fundamentals, and 15 hours of OSHA training will be taught by other staff.
