What are the responsibilities and job description for the SY 2025-2026 Summer - Plumbing Adult Education Instructors position at Greater Lawrence Technical School?
Instructor for the up to 250-hour Plumbing training for unemployed/underemployed adults that will be conducted in summer 2025. This course introduces basic plumbing tools, materials, and fixtures. Topics should include standard tools, materials, and fixtures used in commercial and residential plumbing systems. Upon completion, the students should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the basics of a plumbing system. This position can be shared by 2 or more instructors.

Salary:
$70/hr. for up to 250 hours of instruction
$50/hr. for prep time, 1 hour of prep time per 8-hour class
Dates:
June 26, 2025 – anticipated end date Aug. 14th, 2025
The training schedule will be Mon. – Thurs. 8 am – 4 pm.
