Position Overview: The SCO PCA EVV Specialist position educates the consumer/surrogate and PCA on a timesheet system called Electronic Visit Verification (EVV). This position provides EVV support during implementation phases, as well as regular onboarding and ongoing support of all parties involved. Work within an interdisciplinary team of Nurses, GSSCs and Social Workers. Refer consumers in need of public benefits to the assigned GSSC, Nurse or Public Benefit Specialist
Position Responsibilities: Outreach/Educate the consumer/surrogate and PCA on a timesheet system called Electronic Visit Verification (EVV). Help obtain email from consumer/surrogate and PCA and provide them to the fiscal intermediary for EVV registration and training.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma is required. However, an Associate's Degree or a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and documentation skills required
- Ability to make proper judgments and to maintain effective interpersonal relationships with staff members, consumers and partners
- Proficient in the use of computer systems, including but not limited to, Windows based software application including but not limited to Word, Excel, PPT and Outlook
- Ability to process information accurately
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential materials with discretion and according to GLSS policy and HIPAA guidelines
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license for community outreach and home visits
- Bilingual Spanish or Bilingual Khmer skills preferred
Hours:
Part Time - 25 hours a week, hybrid - requires in-person presence in office 2 days per week
