Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate appointments for clients with counselors and therapists
- Answer inquiries from clients regarding appointments and services
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client schedules
- Communicate with counselors and therapists to ensure smooth and efficient scheduling
- Update and maintain client information in the electronic health record system
- Collaborate with billing department to ensure accurate and timely processing of payments
- Assist in coordinating referrals and intake process for new clients
- Maintain confidentiality in all client interactions and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
- Proven experience in client scheduling or similar role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of mental health terminology and experience working in a healthcare setting is a plus
