What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Medical Assistant position at Greater Maryland Pain Management?
The Front Desk Representative ensures that patients are welcomed in a warm and friendly manner and sees that their needs and expectations are met.
They are responsible for ensuring the smooth operations in the fast paced environment of the clinic with the goal of a positive patient experience with every encounter.
Primary Responsibilities:
Display Exceptional Customer Service Skills
Greeting Patients and checking them in and out
Scheduling multiple appointments including procedures
Assisting with C-Arm operations during procedure days
Form completion and scanning documents
Answering incoming calls, returning calls & taking messages for providers
Intra-office traveling
Rooming patients and assisting providers as needed
Performing various procedures such as taking vital signs
Setting up appointments and procedures
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
Must be willing and able to travel to various clinic sites.
High School Diploma
1 or more years of experience in a medical office or front and back office experience preferred
Basic computer proficiency with MS Office: Outlook, Word and Excel
Excellent Customer Service skills.
