Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered.
- Process patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Manage phone calls, including answering questions, directing calls, and taking messages as necessary.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth and Dentrix for data entry and retrieval.
- Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, scanning documents, and maintaining office supplies.
- Communicate effectively
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical office is preferred.
- Strong clerical skills with proficiency in administrative tasks.
- Experience with electronic health record systems is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Proficient computer skills for data entry and management of medical records.
