Summary Description :
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for updating payroll records and participate in payroll processing accurately and timely. Oversees the entire payroll process in Directors absence, following company policies and procedures. This role plays a critical part in maintaining payroll accuracy and resolving employee inquiries.
Key Responsibilities :
- Data entry, Adding Special Batches, and deduction changes requested by HR.
- Verify accuracy of timekeeping records including wage rate programs and allocations on timecards resolve any discrepancies.
- Enter wage garnishments in payroll system ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management and departments as needed.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters and resolve issues.
- Assist in payroll audits and compliance reviews.
- Other duties as assigned
