We are seeking a passionate Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team and play a key role in shaping young minds. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, skilled in classroom management, and dedicated to fostering a positive learning environment. The lead teacher will lead one of our preschool classrooms, develop the curriculum, and ensure the safety and well-being of the children in our care.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports children's emotional, social, and cognitive growth.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
- Assess and document children's development and communicate progress with parents/guardians daily.
- Collaborate with staff to create a stimulating and enriching curriculum.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with families to build strong relationships and encourage involvement.
- Comply with all state licensing regulations, organizational policies, and local, state, and federal laws.
- Successfully complete a Child and Neglect Background Check (DHR) and an ABI/FBI Fingerprint Background Check.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (required).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within first 30 days of hire).
- Strong leadership, communication, and classroom management skills.
- Passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Monday-Friday: 6:45 am-3:45 pm (typical schedule)
