About Us
The Greater Peace Community Development Corporation is a nonprofit that provides quality summer programs for children, including nutritious meals to support their growth and development. We are seeking a Summer Camp Cook to prepare and serve healthy lunches for our campers.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare kid-friendly lunches following health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following food safety regulations.
- Manage food inventory and coordinate with suppliers for necessary ingredients.
- Ensure all meals meet dietary restrictions and allergy requirements.
- Clean kitchen and dining area after meals.
- Follow all health department and organizational policies.
Qualifications:
- Experience in food preparation, preferably in a school, camp, or childcare setting.
- ServSafe certification required (Handler or Manager)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Must complete a Child and Adult Neglect Background Check
