We are looking for the right person with dental assisting experience. These are well managed, GP office with a mix of specialty procedures such as root canals, extractions, grafting, surgical periodontal therapy, etc.
A day in the life includes:
- Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Setup and breakdown operatory post treatment.
- Taking dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Managing infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Providing patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures.
- Educating patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.
- Performing various office tasks as necessary.
- Dental Assistant Certificate preferred but not required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 34 – 36 per week
