Head Varsity Baseball Coach-Poultney High School

Poultney High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Head Varsity Baseball Coach to lead our high school baseball program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baseball, proven leadership skills, and a commitment to fostering the development of student-athletes both on and off the field.Responsibilities: Develop and implement practice plans and game strategies.Teach fundamental baseball skills and promote teamwork and sportsmanship.Manage game day operations, including player lineups and equipment.Conduct regular meetings with players, parents, and coaching staff.Ensure compliance with school, league, and state regulations.Foster a positive and inclusive team culture.Collaborate with athletic administration to schedule games and tournaments.Provide guidance on player recruitment and development.Maintain communication with parents regarding player progress and team activities.Qualifications: Previous coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level preferred.Strong knowledge of baseball techniques, rules, and strategies.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).A valid drivers license.Application Process: Interested candidates should submit a resume, cover letter, and three references to schoolspring.About Us: Poultney High School is committed to providing a supportive and competitive environment for our student-athletes.
