Join our warm and welcoming family in the heart of Vermont, where you’ll be surrounded by nature’s stunning landscapes, from the vibrant fall foliage to the sparkling winter snow. We are seeking a full-time live-in or live-out Nanny to help care for five wonderful children, ages 11, 9, 7, 5, and a newborn.
Poultney, VT offers the perfect balance of outdoor adventure and small-town charm. Whether you enjoy hiking, skiing, or simply appreciating the changing seasons, this area is a dream for nature lovers. You'll be surrounded by breathtaking views, fresh mountain air, and a warm, close-knit community.

Your Role:
- Light housekeeping (we have a full-time housekeeper)
- Teaching manners, etiquette, and life skills to the children
- Providing emotional, mental, and intellectual support
- Planning and preparing healthy meals and snacks
- Coordinating extracurricular activities and social events
- Managing the purchasing of children’s necessities and grocery shopping
- Helping with the organization and hosting of family events (birthdays, celebrations, etc.)
Schedule:
- Tuesday to Saturday: Split shifts from 7:00 AM-9:30 AM and 2:00 PM-8:00 PM
- Guaranteed hours every week
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay: $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience
- Vacation: 2 weeks of paid vacation
- Sick/Personal Days: 2-4 paid sick/personal days
- Holidays: Major holidays off
- Live-In Option: Separate housing on the property with a private bedroom and bathroom for your comfort and privacy
Requirements:
- Prior childcare experience
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to provide 3-5 professional references
