Hillsborough YMCA is seeking a Membership Coordinator to support the Hillsborough branch of Greater Somerset County YMCA, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Primary responsibilities include supporting the administrative functions in the Welcome Center of this location. This role will serve as the point of contact for member services. Delivers excellent customer service to all members, guests, and program participants. Responds to member and guest requests, promotes memberships and programs, and maintains cleanliness and organization of the Welcome Center area

Essential Functions
- Coordinates membership administrative activities i.e., bank draft, record edits, credits, membership tracking, membership data inputs, bank draft terminations and edits.
- Produces regular membership reports on retention, recruitment, etc.
- Provide administrative support for “New Member Welcome Campaign”
- Generate list for new member contact
- Generate and mail welcome letters
- Manage new member process in Daxko Engage
- Mail six month progress report
- Post responses to member suggestions.
- Handles the billing of all corporate memberships.
- Prints all membership labels for activities guides, promotional pieces, etc.
- Serves as backup for Welcome Center staff as needed
- Generates and mails reimbursement letters to members.
- Tracks and records marketing information on membership application
- Orders office supplies for the membership department.
- Handles the overflow of incoming calls to the member service desk.
- Produces monthly renewal statements.
- Maintains all membership files
- Assist any employee, Director, or volunteer in any YMCA activity that needs assistance to ensure success.
- Assists with conducting tours to prospective members.
- Carries out other duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma required. Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred.
- Must have a minimum of two years office experience
- Proficient in computer software applications related to YMCA program registration, Microsoft Office and other standard business software.
- Microsoft Word and Excel (or similar applications)
- Manage a high volume of administrative support services with absolute confidentiality,
- Work in a harmonious atmosphere with various personalities.
- Meet deadlines with accurate performance
- Handle multiple tasks at the same time.
- Must be highly organized and able to ascertain priorities.
- Strong customer service, computer, writing and communication skills are essential
- Must be available to work weekends, and cover when needed.
