Position Summary
GreaterHealth Pharmacy & Wellness is seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director, Pharmacy Telehealth Services to oversee and drive the clinical strategy and operations of our innovative telehealth and pharmacy services. The ED, PTS will play a critical leadership role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care through our telehealth services, and brick and mortar pharmacy.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Leadership:
- Develop and execute clinical strategies to support GreaterHealth’s mission of improving access to pharmacy care and health outcomes in underserved communities.
- Oversee the delivery of telehealth services, ensuring compliance with clinical protocols, CMS and standards of care.
- Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to integrate clinical operations with overall organizational goals.
- Serve as the primary clinical advisor to the executive team and advisory board.
Patient Care and Quality:
- Establish and maintain clinical guidelines, protocols, and best practices for chronic disease management, medication adherence, and mental health services.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, using data-driven insights to improve patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and telehealth standards.
Team Management:
- Lead and mentor clinical staff, including pharmacists, telehealth providers, and support teams.
- Develop training programs to enhance the clinical expertise of staff and support professional growth.
- Recruit, onboard, and retain top clinical talent to meet operational demands.
Strategic Partnerships:
- Collaborate with hospital systems to deliver seamless care for their patients.
- Foster partnerships with healthcare organizations, community programs, and government agencies to expand GreaterHealth’s reach and impact.
- Represent GreaterHealth in industry forums, conferences, and partnerships to build credibility and visibility.
Technology Integration:
- Partner with the executive team to optimize telehealth platforms and implement innovative solutions for medication management and patient engagement.
- Use data analytics to track patient outcomes, identify gaps in care, and guide clinical decision-making.
Operational Scaling:
- Ensure the successful onboarding of 20,000 patients through scalable clinical workflows and processes.
- Develop strategies for regional expansion into Kansas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas, ensuring clinical readiness and alignment with operational goals.
- Drive initiatives to enhance medication delivery services, including integrating nutrition support (e.g., fresh produce delivery).
QualificationsEducation and Experience:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) REQUIRED; MBA or MHA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in clinical leadership roles, preferably in telehealth, pharmacy services, or hospital systems.
- Proven track record of improving clinical outcomes and scaling clinical operations.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of telehealth operations, pharmacy management, and chronic disease care.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
- Data-driven decision-making with experience in using analytics to improve clinical outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance, and accreditation standards.
