Position Summary:
As the National Accounts Manager, reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for the overall performance and growth of multiple brands and product categories across assigned retail accounts. Your strategic insights will have a significant impact on our growth.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assess, manage, and coordinate programs and brand positioning with your customer base, including transactional needs such as pricing strategies, training, and merchandising.
· Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities across channels and markets to drive profitable market share gains.
· Build and maintain strong customer relationships to facilitate effective communication and collaborative negotiations.
· Continuously gather and analyze customer feedback to refine products, services, and overall sales strategies.
· Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the Marketing and Product Management Teams, to deliver consumer-centric products and programs.
· Communicate clearly and consistently with customers’ corporate personnel and all relevant GreatNeck team members.
· Plan and execute distributor trade shows effectively to maximize ROI.
· Conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities, adjusting sales strategies as needed.
· Achieve or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for assigned responsibilities.
· Ensure timely completion of sales initiatives within established deadlines.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
· Proven track record of profitably growing sales with regional/national accounts.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to manage the needs and concerns of multiple stakeholders effectively.
· Previous experience in sales, merchandising, and/or marketing is preferred.
· Retail or wholesale sales experience is beneficial.
· Willingness to travel approximately 50%.
· Advanced skills in planning, prioritizing, and organizing with a clear focus on objectives.
· Experience executing plans under tight deadlines and time constraints.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· This is a remote position.
