Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling and communicate work instructions for smooth departmental operations.
• Provide support to your team in completing their tasks efficiently.
• Collaborate with fellow departments to minimize workflow delays.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards among the team members.
• Organize and execute training and scheduling of departmental staff.
• Work closely with the department supervisor on personnel actions and evaluations.
• Manage the ordering of supplies to maintain an uninterrupted workflow.
• Maintain up-to-date records by collecting and entering relevant data into systems.
• Address quality, mechanical, or staffing issues promptly and effectively.
• Utilize downtime effectively through housekeeping initiatives and area improvements.
• Engage actively in continuous improvement and employee involvement activities.
• Adhere to company attendance guidelines and expectations.
• Be prepared to take on additional tasks as needed and work overtime when required.

What We're Looking For

• Team-oriented individuals with a positive work approach.
• Candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent; over three months of experience is advantageous.
• Strong numeracy skills involving decimals and fractions, alongside interpretative skills for drawings and formulas.
• The ability to exercise sound judgement and decision-making when following methods and instructions.
• Physical endurance to handle repetitive movements, standing, and exertion, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Readiness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
