What You’ll Do
Sales & Revenue Optimization:
- Develop and implement sales and upselling strategies to increase conversion rates and maximize room revenue.
- Monitor and update daily revenue goal boards and rate information to keep the team informed.
- Work with the Rates Manager to strategize and execute call programs that drive bookings.
Reservations & Guest Relations Management:
- Oversee call scoring, ensuring each reservation agent meets sales and service expectations.
- Track and analyze abandoned calls to optimize staffing levels.
- Audit call results to ensure accurate reporting and performance tracking.
- Conduct monthly coaching sessions with agents, focusing on sales techniques and guest engagement.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Recruit, hire, and train top-tier reservation agents to ensure exceptional guest interactions.
- Develop monthly and quarterly customer service training to enhance sales effectiveness.
- Organize immersive resort facility tours for agents to gain a deeper understanding of offerings.
- Implement agent incentive programs to drive performance and boost motivation.
Operational & Administrative Excellence:
- Maintain reservation systems, including auditing online bookings for accuracy and ease of use.
- Manage group room blocks, update rooming lists, and assist sales managers with availability.
- Lead the monthly reservations department meeting, providing insights and updates.
- Oversee call bots (Alexandra & Virgil) and provide daily feedback to enhance functionality.
Scheduling & Payroll Management:
- Create and manage the reservations department schedule, ensuring adequate coverage.
- Process payroll, manage time-off requests, and adjust staffing based on business demands.
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience: At least 1 year in reservations, hospitality, or call center sales leadership.
- Sales-Driven Leader: Passionate about training, coaching, and maximizing revenue.
- Guest-Centric Mindset: Strong ability to balance customer service with business objectives.
- Detail-Oriented & Analytical: Ability to track performance metrics and implement data-driven improvements.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with Microsoft Office, booking software, and call-tracking tools.
- Problem-Solver: Adaptable and solution-focused in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
