What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at Greeley Housing Authority?
-Read, understand, and comply with the Section 8 Administrative Plan, Public Housing Admissions and Continuing Occupancy policy, other GHA policies and procedures, and HUD regulations and program guidelines;
-Consistently work to achieve Housing Department Performance Expectations and Requirements;
-Serve as initial point of contact for applicants and clients seeking Housing Assistance and for visitors to the GHA;
-Provide information to potential and current clients about all GHA programs and/or referral of clients to appropriate staff for scheduled appointments;
-Oversight of waiting area and client flow, including stocking of form packets for client access;
-Responds to a variety of inquiries and complaints in person, by telephone, or by correspondence;
-Process rent payments, and other payments received;
-Data entry of applications for Housing Assistance and rent payments;
-Update applicant wait lists for Voucher and Public Housing Programs;
-Purge wait lists when directed;
-Prepare files for all new Voucher and Public Housing program participants;
-File Maintenance for all active Voucher and Public Housing program participants;
-Generate correspondence to applicants, tenants and landlords as directed;
-Open and distribute inbound Housing Department US Mail, process outbound US Mail;
-Other duties assigned by Executive Director.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
