Job Overview
Green Bay Country Club is seeking a Seasonal Landscaper to help maintain and enhance the beauty of our clubhouse, sports center, golf course, and landscaped grounds. Key Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of landscape maintenance, both independently and as part of a team.
- Maintain and install trees, shrubs, perennials, and annual plants, including planting, pruning, fertilizing, and mulching.
- Diagnose pest, nutrient, and health issues affecting plant life.
- Operate and learn to use heavy equipment such as skid steers, tractors, and utility carts.
- Assist with the installation of seasonal decorative displays and container plantings.
- Keep landscape beds and grounds clean and well-maintained.
- Support general golf course maintenance as needed.
- Respond to and complete maintenance requests through a work order system.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of plant identification and landscaping practices.
- Prior landscaping experience is a plus.
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to safely operate tools and equipment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment while following general guidelines.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, standing, walking, and pushing/pulling heavy objects.
- Work in outdoor environments, including exposure to temperature extremes and inclement weather.
- Manual dexterity to operate landscaping equipment safely.
