Job Summary
Green Bay Country Club is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server Assistant/ Busser to join our team at our Main Clubhouse. This is a seasonal position running from May to September. As a Server Assistant/ Busser, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dining room and help provide an exceptional experience for our guests. This position requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a proactive approach to supporting both guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including floors, tables, and service stations.
- Assist servers with delivering food and beverages to tables.
- Communicate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely and accurate service.
- Support catering events by setting up and breaking down dining areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by being attentive to guest needs and requests.
- Follow food safety regulations to ensure a safe and pleasant dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, particularly in the outdoor pool area, and work in various weather conditions.
