Join Our Team as a Tooling Engineer at Cleveland Hardware and Forging Co. Based in Green Bay, WI, this Forge Tooling Engineer role leads tooling design and process strategies with respect to the forging processes. You work closely with our customer, sales and manufacturing engineering groups to develop tooling solutions for that exceed the specifications and requirements of our customers. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communications skills and strong background in forge tooling design.

Duties:
- Provide technical expertise on tooling designs to both the sales and manufacturing engineering teams
- Develop tooling solutions that exceed customer expectations
- Conduct part and process simulations to complete feasibility studies and develop efficient processes
- Provide technical support to customers during pre-sales and post-sales stages, including troubleshooting, resolving technical issues, and answering product-related questions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to provide valuable insights and recommendations to management
- Continuously update and maintain technical documentation, product manuals, and training materials for internal and external use.
- Act as a liaison between customers and the engineering team, providing input on product enhancements, customization requests, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain internal tooling development and design standards
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, with excellent communication skills.
- Basic understanding of forging processes, metal forming, and tooling design principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) for tooling design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
- Willingness to learn and develop expertise in forging and tooling applications.
- Familiarity with IATF 16949 manufacturing a plus.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required to support customer engagements and attend industry events.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 2-5 years of experience in the design and development of tooling.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
