Tooling Engineer

Your role

• Concept and development of requirements for molding tools in the project

• Optimization of product construction for manufacturability and participation in DFMEA

• Feasibility study of plastic components designed in Aptiv Technical Centers

• Supervision, optimization and expressing opinions about mold project

• Coordination of realization of tool build by supplier

• Cost of tool calculation in collaboration with plant and suppliers

• Supporting plants during tool start

Requirements

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in technical field with specialization in mechanics, molding or similar

• Experience in designing mold tools

• Knowledge of plastic components design rules

• Ability to travel frequently within Europe (Aptiv plants, Delphi Technical Centers, Suppliers)

• Knowledge & skills in CAD software e.g.: UG NX (preferred), Catia V5, Inventor, ProE, etc.

• Minimum 5 year experience on similar position

• Good English skills (both spoken and written)

• Ability to work with experts from various fields and fast learning

• Ability to work in team and to solve problems creatively

• Openness to the challenges and development
