What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electro-Mechanical Technician position at Green Bay Packaging - De Pere Shipping Container?
Responsibilities :
The qualified candidate is preferred but not required to have knowledge in the following areas :
AC / DC wiring methods
AC / DC drives / motors / VFD's & servo motors
PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, B&R, Beckhoff)
Mechanical systems (bearing, alignment, chains, belts)
Pneumatics and hydraulics
Design and fabricating is a plus but not required
Preventive & predictive maintenance on production machinery
Mill and Lathe experience is a plus but not required
Fanuc / Robot experience is a plus
Experience using a CMMS system
Conveyor systems
The following lists the job tasks and responsibilities that the Maintenance Technician will be performing :
Works safely and follows all related policies and programs to assure a safe working environment.
Reading blueprints, diagrams,electrical schematic and hydroulic drawings to determine work requirements
Install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, and conveyors according to layout plans using hand and power tools
Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions
Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Adjust machinery and troubleshoot defective parts
Operate hoisting and lifting devices, such as cranes, jacks and forklifts, to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery
Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance / preventative work on machinery
Other job tasks and projects as assigned
Qualifications :
All candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. The ideal candidate will have or be working towards a minimum of a 2-year associate degree.
