JOB SUMMARY:
This paid internship will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the Human Resources department. This is a paid internship and entails working 40 hours/week. This is an onsite position in our Green Bay office. The approximate timeframe for this position is one full year. The official start/end date is subject to change and will be dictated by the Packers.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist with recruiting activities including coordinating resume responses, conducting reference checks when needed, and preparation of recruiting materials and job fairs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation. Conduct audits as required.
Assist with the benefits programs including 401(k), pension, monthly billing reconciliation and FMLA.
Organize, create, and manage spreadsheets and documents for various projects.
Help coordinate company wellness events.
Assist with day-to-day HR administrative needs, including coordination of mailings, new hire materials, filing, and other duties as assigned.
Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files, records, and information.
Provide clerical support to the HR department.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree (senior status minimum) in Human Resources degree program.
Prior administrative experience preferred.
Ability to handle highly confidential materials with discretion and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to be available 40 hours/week.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
Ability to remain in a stationary position for periods of time.
Ability to focus on projects for periods of time.
Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Operates in a professional office environment.
Role routinely uses standard office equipment.
TRAVEL: No regular travel is expected for this position.
SUPERVISES: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
