JOB SUMMARY:
Manager of Game Day Productions to oversee all aspects of video and audio production for Packers home games. This role is responsible for creating and coordinating video/graphic elements, managing the TundraVision game day staff, and directing live game productions. The Manager will also play a key role in ensuring proficiency in 4K 2110 production processes for all live broadcasts on Packers platforms.
This position demands excellent communication, leadership, and planning abilities, as well as a strong technical background in live production.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Director of Broadcast, Video Production and Game Presentation to create high quality and visually impactful TundraVision productions.
- Direct in-house productions for all Packers home games.
- Possess the ability and technical skills related to live production technology including Ross Tessera & Xpression, Evertz Dreamcatcher, and Grass Valley switcher.
- Shoot and edit video content for video boards, such as hype videos, player prompts including content for other Packers properties.
- Coordinate/choose music and other elements that affect the overall feel of productions.
- Implement yearly graphics package into the video board show with a strong emphasis on understanding color range, codecs, and other file requirements related to high-end video production.
- Manage scheduling, recruitment, and payroll for all game day TundraVision staff for home games and other live events.
- Ability to serve as live director for Packers Studio produced content and shows.
- Serves as the lead between the talent, technical and creative personnel.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Film Production, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience or training. Equivalent experience and training that provides the necessary knowledge and skills are also acceptable.
- Working Knowledge of Ross Xpression and Tessera as a content management system.
- Expertise in all aspects of video production, including concept development, shooting, editing, and post-production.
- Proficient in video editing software, such as Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Audition.
- Familiarity of Q-SYS audio, Evertz Dreamcatchers, Imagine router and Grass Valley Switchers preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of current industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in video production.
- A creative mindset, with the ability to think strategically and deliver innovative and engaging video content.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for the sports industry.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment, follow direction, and adapt to the needs of various departments.
- Ability to work non-traditional hours including game day, nights and weekends in various weather conditions.
- Ability to adapt and handle sudden shifts in production schedules and priorities.
- Willingness to travel as required.
