Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, packaging, and preparing products for shipment while adhering to safety and quality standards. The Packager will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing various hand tools and equipment to ensure efficient production processes.
Responsibilities
- Assemble products according to specifications and quality standards.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Package finished goods for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Maintain compliance with FDA regulations and CGMP guidelines throughout the packaging process.
- Utilize hand tools for fabrication and assembly tasks as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections of packaging materials and finished products to ensure quality control.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets.
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues with packaging equipment, including logic controllers, as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools effectively.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and CGMP practices is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and logical thinking abilities are essential.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- A valid forklift certification is desirable but not required; training may be provided.
