- Dining room supervisory experience is preferred

- Responsible for management of front desk and related responsibilities
- Maintains a high level of member contact throughout service hours
- Knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations
Job Summary (Essential Functions)
Assure a high standard of appearance, hospitality and Ensures timeliness of telephone service. Develop and implement programs to increase attentive member service through thoughtful execution of host, server support, telephone etiquette, administrative and guest / member satisfaction.
Job Tasks/Duties
- Greets and seats members and guests
- Serves as liaison between the dining room and kitchen staff
- Develops and maintains the dining room reservation system
- Assists in service and tableside, as needed
- Attends scheduled staff meetings
- Receives all incoming calls to the Club and directs them to the proper department and/or handles member requests in a timely and appropriate manner
- Responds to and manages incoming email communications to the Club email
- Take Dining reservations communicating with all appropriate personnel to ensure member/guest satisfaction
- Receive and manage all overnight accommodation reservations including coordinating check ins/check outs, sending confirmations, billing, etc
- Greet all members and guests at the door and directs them to their table, meeting, party, etc
- At times it will be necessary during busy services to assist in food delivery, order taking, etc
- In charge of all office supplies ordering and organization
- Administrative duties including editing, formatting, and issuing mailers and communications when necessary, and assisting management with various tasks when requested
Licenses and Special Permits
- Alcoholic beverage certification
- Food safety certification
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach
- Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds
- Continuous repetitive motions
- Work in hot, humid and noisy environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
