What are the responsibilities and job description for the Thrift Store Backroom Production Associate position at Green Country Habitat for Humanity?
Summary:
The Thrift Store Backroom Production Associate will play a fundamental role in achieving our customer satisfaction and revenue growth objectives. The Production Association will play a key role in the pricing of merchandise for our customers and building customer loyalty. The Production Associate is an ambassador for Green Country Habitat for Humanity and often makes a first impression of the organization to donors and customers, therefore a positive attitude is necessary.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in all departments including Sales Floor (placing clothing on rack; Fitting Rooms (letting customers into fitting rooms); Customer Service; Color Coordinating clothing on racks, removal of non-selling items from racks for recycling.
- Sorting, pricing, and sales floor placement of all store goods.
- Pricing of clothing, shoes, and home goods
- Process donated inventory quickly and efficiently.
- Conduct themselves professionally. Has a clean and neat appearance and positive attitude.
- Maintain store and facility; clean shelves, bathrooms, and retail displays as well as restock merchandise as needed
- Provide support to management and complete other duties as assigned.
- Ensures policies and procedures are closely followed.
- Be an Ambassador for Green Country Habitat for Humanity and the Store.

- Load items in a safe and courteous fashion.
