JOB DESCRIPTION
The Housing Development/ Weatherization Coordinator works with the Associate Director of Housing Development preparing and maintaining program files and providing resource support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be an advocate for the Mission and Vision set forth by CAPNCM.
- Send out monthly late notices on rental properties,
- Work with the Director on termination process and deliver termination notices to residents, when applicable.
- Do bank deposits at least twice per month for the agency.
- Answer telephone and take messages as needed, answer routine information requests and provide desired information or arrange for caller to contact the appropriate staff. Place calls, as requested.
- Enter client information into MOWAP and MHDC computer systems as needed.
- Operate copy machines, calculator, computer, typewriter, fax, and other office machines on a routine basis.
- Assist Associate Director in collecting all information needed in files on rental clients and weatherization clients, including income qualifications.
- Work with clients by assessing potential eligibility for Agency programs and services, as well as outside community resources, in order to benefit the family.
- Provide programmatic information to the public in a professional manner. Treat all clients with courtesy and respect.
- Assist Associate Director on move out of residents, complete move out check lists.
- Assist Associate Director on moving in new residents.
- Assist in processing receipts for payment to vendors.
- Active involvement in at least one civic, educational, or service group is preferred.
- Keep work area neat and clean in appearance.
- Participate in training activities as deemed necessary by supervisor.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge of CAPNCM’s purpose, goals, mission/vision, policies and procedures, and resources.
- Knowledge of social and health resources in CAPNCM’s service area.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of demographics and geography of CAPNCM’s service area.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently (i.e. self-motivated; initiative).
- Ability to handle sensitive client information in a confidential, professional manner.
- Possess a valid, current Missouri driver’s license and provide proof of insurance.
COMPENSATION
Starting at $14.40 per hour (Non-Exempt Position)

SHIFT
- Full-time position, 36 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 5:00pm.
