What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Lifeguard position at Green Island Country Club?
Green Island Country Club is seeking motivated, energetic individuals to serve on our team of lifeguards for the Summer. This unique position in a small, family-friendly environment is a great opportunity to build relationships with co-workers and members, and gain positive work experience. Candidates must obtain current Lifeguard Certification before pool season begins May 25th, 2024.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Opening and closing the pool
- Checking in pool guests
- Performing swim qualification tests, and maintaining accurate records
- Administering Swim Lessons
- Maintaining proper safety standards at all times
- Enforcing pool rules
- Monitoring weather conditions, and responding appropriately
- Maintaining a neat and orderly pool deck and facilities
- Maintaining restrooms
- Washing and folding towels
Pool season extends mid-May through Labor Day
