DIRECTOR OF AUXILIARY PROGRAMS
The Director of Auxiliary Programs is central to planning and implementing engaging summer camps, before-care and after-school enrichment programs, supporting the coordination of sports programming with the Pine Street School Athletic Director, as well as managing vendor agreements and rentals across our campuses.
The Director of Auxiliary Programs also helps to attract prospective families through the summer camp, and nurture the community of enrolled families in our before-care and after shool programs. This role is also pivotal to external partnerships vis-a-vis rentals/vendors.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Auxiliary Program Management
- Lead in the development and maintenance of engaging before school, after school and summer camp programs
- Maintain strict health and safety protocols
- Provide on-site supervision of teachers and students
- Ensure DOH compliance in consultation with the DOH Compliance Manager and works towards completion of DOH-related certificates (i.e. FDNY-related, food-related)
- Work closely with families and children, particularly during phase-in/separation
- Implement feedback mechanisms for staff, parents and students regarding curriculum and instruction
- Order and purchase materials related to all enrichment/summer camp activities/initiatives
- Work with Green Ivy administration to ensure that all enrichment/summer camp programs are within budget
- Oversee all enrichment/summer camp staff including registration, processing of necessary forms, recruitment, interviewing, hiring and termination of all program employees
- Complete business office/HR-related duties like expensify and payroll upkeep and management
- Respond to all inquiries regarding enrichment/summer camp programs
- Provide frequent communication to families leading up to the start of programming and throughout outlining registration details, any changes to programming, updates, newsletters, etc.

- Use registration and student management systems (i.e. Veracross and Magnus)
- Communicate regularly with the Heads of School/Executive Director of Operations
- Work closely with parent liaisons and the athletic director to create and maintain rosters for dissemination to teachers
- Report to accounting/business office on billing
Vendors and Rental Management
- Manage all vendor relationships and short-term/one-day rentals, including negotiation of terms, contracts, insurance and liability documentation, deposits, payments, use of space and works with related parties where applicable (business office, facilities)
Admissions and Marketing Support:
- Maintains records of all participants and activities including attendance, feedback, retention, interest in or action related to admissions
- Generate new leads and secure new families
- Support marketing endeavors and providing content when needed
- Collaborate with marketing staff to ensure that enrichment/summer camp/partnership programs are well-publicized well in advance.

Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters Degree and/or equivalent field experience
- 5 years of teaching experience working with children and/or managing children's programming
- 5 years of working closely with families
- Full professional fluency in English
- Fully vaccinated and up-to-date on all Covid-19 vaccinations for which you are eligible
- Authorized to work now and in the future in the U.S.
- Fluency in Spanish or Mandarin Chinese a plus
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
