Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing and maintaining the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties. The Landscape Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that landscapes are healthy, vibrant, and well-kept.

Duties

• Perform regular lawn care activities including mowing, edging, and trimming to maintain neat appearance.
• Execute irrigation tasks to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
• Dig and prepare soil for planting, ensuring optimal conditions for growth.
• Provide tree care services, including pruning and removal as necessary.
• Maintain hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including weeding, mulching, and fertilizing.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment with mechanical knowledge to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards.

Experience

• Prior experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with lawn care techniques, irrigation systems, and landscape design principles is advantageous.
• Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment operation is a plus.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A commitment to safety practices while working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
