Job Summary

The shipping & receiving clerk will ensure the effective and efficient movement of outgoing orders and incoming materials and supplies. Communicating effectively, works as a member of a team to ship, receive and process items that are used in the manufacture or assembly of product in a thorough, accurate and rapid-response manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to work in fast-paced environment, learn quickly and follow established procedures
• Maintain high safety standards for area of responsibility
• Interact with customer service and production for smooth, total quality order shipments from all shipping facilities, update with changes as necessary.
• Ability to define problems, collect data/facts and draw reasonable conclusions
• Ability to be flexible with various situations
• Process paperwork for outgoing shipments, accurately and procedurally correct
• Loading and unloading trailers
• Review Production line-up: maintain stock supply on assigned machine.
• Protect and keep product free from damage.
• Participate in monthly physical inventory procedures.
• Receive and scan product with accuracy and on a timely basis into the software system.
• Maintain and record shipping records and driving logs.
• Maintain Warehouse Inventory and Shipping Supplies

Education & Experience

• Sit down tow motor experience a must
• Hand scanner experience required
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Up to two (2) years related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Expected Hours

This position is an hourly, non-exempt position. This role will be afternoons 3-11pm six (6) days per week.
