Estimating & Sales

Overview
This role will involve estimating residential and commercial HVAC replacements, new installations, plan Spec and design build projects.
Responsibilities
- Estimating & managing multiple full mechanical construction projects of various sizes.
- Estimating commercial and residential design build projects creating detailed scope of work and contracts.
- Estimating and presenting sales contracts to end user and promoting our services.
- Monitoring general conditions, work scope and specifications of project contract/subcontracts– before, during and upon completion of project.
- Collaborating with field labor & Install supervision team to plan, organize and schedule project work and assure compliance with state and federal licensing agencies.
- Reviewing contracts and subcontract agreements to ensure compliance and accountability.
- Ensuring proper safety policy and methods are utilized on assigned projects in conjunction with our company Safety Director and stated policy.
- Effectively purchasing materials, equipment and subcontracts and maintaining on-going controls and records.
- Composing and submitting progress payment applications, reviewing subcontractor payment applications.
- Collaborating with design team on design-build projects.
- Developing favorable relationships with clients in a business development capacity.
Required Skills
Required skills are mandatory; candidates who cannot demonstrate all required skills will not be considered for the position.
- Proven project management skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Proficiency in email, Excel, Word, and Acrobat.
- Minimum of 6 years of service and/or installation experience.
- Valid Kentucky Journeyman license.
- Experience with large commercial and industrial projects is highly desirable.
- Experience with design-build construction. Ability to work with design team.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to interface with construction industry professionals with professionalism and credibility.
