Machine Maintenance Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Machine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial mechanics and electrical systems, with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex machinery. This role requires a commitment to customer service and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team in various environments, including field service settings.

Duties

• Assist engineers with the installation, setup, and maintenance of machinery and equipment. Ensure smooth operations during the installation process and provide hands-on support as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery, ensuring optimal performance.
• Analyze mechanical and electrical issues using schematics to diagnose problems effectively.
• Fabricate components as needed to support machinery repairs and enhancements.
• Operate scissor lifts safely to access equipment in elevated areas.
• Utilize ammeters and ohmmeters for testing electrical components and systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding equipment status and repair needs.
• Document all service activities, including maintenance logs and repair reports.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or similar role.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to read schematics.
• Familiarity with fabrication techniques and tools.
• Experience operating scissor lifts and other relevant equipment.
• Proficient in using testing instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex machinery issues.
• Strong customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
• Ability to work independently in field service environments while adhering to safety protocols.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.84 - $24.34 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
