Brief Description :
A chassis Assembler performs instillation of mechanical components and the required fluids, fuels and lubricants for proper operation.
Responsibilities include :
- Instillation of drive train, mechanical and chassis assemblies, parts and components per work instructions.
- Must be familiar with truck air systems including airline routing, air bags, brake valves, leveling valves, etc.
- Follow verbal and written task directives.
- Ensure proper operation of all drive train, mechanical and chassis assemblies, parts and components.
- Troubleshoot and assist with corrective measures as needed due to engineering or design issues.
- Continually self-inspect during work shift, analyze and offer suggestions for progressive improvement.
- Keep a clean and safe work environment and optimize space utilization.
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
- Operate and preventively maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.

Compensation and Benefits :
Compensation for this position will be in the range of $18 to $20 per hour. Qualified candidates will generally work a 40 hour work week.
