What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Manager position at GREEN PRODUCTS CO?
This position is responsible for the administration of the current quality system, developing and implementing a quality system necessary to achieve a Safe Feed Safe Food certification.
Responsibilities
- Develop, Update, implement, administer, and maintain Quality Assurance program for all sites
- Respond to customer quality audits and sustainability inquiries/surveys
- Investigate customer complaints or corrective actions
- Earn and maintain personal professional certifications (such as ISO, PCQI and SQF Practitioner)
- Earn and maintain Safe Feed Safe Food certification for Green Products
- Maintain federal and state registrations and licenses (FDA registration, all state feed licenses)
- Develop training materials and train cob staff on relevant regulations (FSMA) and quality program
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in QA
- 5 years' relevant work experience preferred
