Green Street’s Data Operations team is seeking a candidate who can display initiative and attention to detail to keep our proprietary database of EU retail businesses up to date and accurate. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our data by reviewing and updating our core datasets. This involves quality-checking the data collected by our European field team and conducting online research to enrich the database.
This position presents an excellent entry point for individuals eager to build a broad skill set, including teamwork, technology, data processing, project management - as well as developing their knowledge on the retail market and the commercial real estate industry. We provide a fantastic training and development program to teach proprietary methodologies and ongoing team and managerial support.
Responsibilities
- Update the retailer data for major shopping center lists via online searches
- Keeping the Centre Maps for the shopping centers up-to-date
- Validate and process data provided by our European field research teams
- Research missing information or reconcile discrepancies for existing records
- Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy of data
- Work closely with colleagues across offices in the Netherlands, U.K., Asia and the U.S. to learn and share best practices
- Actively participate in departmental and self-guided trainings
