Description

Chip Van Hauling

Experience hauling logs.

Safely operate long and short haul trucks to transport logs to designated locations.
Adhere to all safety procedures and practices to ensure a safe working environment.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
Load and unload logs as required.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, logs, and deliveries.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with clean Motor Vehicle Record (CDL required), Operator / driver of a Class A-required vehicle.

Capable of driving a Heavy Duty vehicle with trailer; c

Drive a manual CDL class vehicle in a safe and professional manner.

Basic mechanical knowledge to make small repairs (change hydraulic hose, grease and lube, safety walk around inspection)

Follow all Safety Program, Policies and Procedures

Cleaning and maintaining whichever truck he / she may drive and operate.

Working safely and efficiently, meeting the set production schedule each day.

Serve in alternate roles such as groundperson or equipment operator if needed

Follow detailed instructions with precision.
