Green Tree School & Services (GTSS) is seeking a qualified Lead Behavior Manager to be responsible for on-site leaderships of the behavior managers in the areas of student support, crisis management, and the implementation behavior support strategies. The Lead Behavior Manager will also assist in leading the school in the development and implementation of best practice positive behavior support strategies. This is a full-time position (10 month-Plus ESY).
What we offer:
- Compensation: $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on education and experience.
- Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hours are 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM on Monday, Thursday, and Friday, and 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM on Tuesday and Wednesday. No nights or weekends.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership and direct supervision to the Behavior Managers to ensure program quality and integrity, student and staff safety.
- Role model the use and implementation of Positive Behavior Support, Crisis Prevention strategies, adherence to all standards and protocols during Personal Emergency Interventions, as well as maintain and provide expertise on all applicable laws and policies regarding PBS.
- Lead daily morning briefing regarding student and school updates, staff deployment and safety plans. Conduct and lead debriefing meetings and trainings.
- Lead in the on-site management of crisis-level behavioral resistance.
- Collect, analyze, and report out on student and programmatic behavioral data- including frequency data, the use of replacement skills, incident report monitoring and use of restrictive procedures-in conjunction with Behavior Analyst and Director of Behavioral Services.
- Provide role-modeling and coaching to education staff around behavior education management and milieu management.
- Ensure a safe environment, including the implementation of proper procedures, notification of appropriate parties for incidents requiring notification, and on-going evaluation of the milieu for environmental safety factors.
- Manage performance and address performance deficiencies of Behavior Managers.
Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills for effectively engaging with students, parents, and staff.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
- Passion for Special Education, demonstrated by patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students with special needs succeed.
- Experience working with children with special needs or autism through volunteer work, employment, or other relevant experiences.
