Summary :
The Greenacres Arts Center hosts a variety of events throughout the year including weddings, fundraisers, and concerts. The Events Employee is responsible for assisting with setup, execution and cleanup of all events, and will help with organization and inventory of equipment. This position will require work on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays including potential early morning, daytime and late evening shifts throughout event season (March to late November). The weekly schedule will require an average of 10-30 hours / week.
Qualifications :
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift at least 20 pounds to assist with event setup and teardown.
- Capacity to remain on your feet for the entirety of a shift.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team, clients, and guests from various backgrounds.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including rain, heat, and cold.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable communicating professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
- Must be a team player who is adaptable and open to assisting with various tasks as needed.
