What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tampa Litigation Associate position at Greenberg Traurig Amsterdam?
The Tampa office is seeking an associate with 1 to 4 years of experience to join a national-caliber, high-stakes, litigation, and trial practice, which includes environmental & toxic tort, real estate & land use, white-collar, and complex commercial cases.
Qualified candidates will have (a) a JD from a nationally recognized law school in the top 10% of their class; (b) been on the law review, moot court, or trial team; and (c) served or are currently serving as a judicial law clerk, preferably for a United States District Judge.
All candidates must (a) have strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills; (b) have experience researching and drafting pleadings and papers concerning complex and legal and factual issues; (c) be strategically and analytically minded; (d) be able to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team; and (e) be highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
Candidates must be admitted to The Florida Bar or eligible for admission in the near future.
