Duties for Activity Assistant
The Activity aide assists in planning, developing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the activity programs of the center to meet the needs of each resident regardless of his /her cognitive level.
The Acitivty Aide Assists in arranging transportation and attending outside field trips for residents
The Acitivty aide implements the current activities scheduled as directed.
The Acitivty aide assists in providing individual activities to residents as assigned in accordance with the residents’ care plan.
The Acitivty aide works with volunteers as assigned by activities director/coordinator.
The Acitivty aide adheres to universal precautions and sanitary, safety and infection control policies and procedures.
The Acitivty aide understands, complies, and promotes all rules and regulations regarding residents’ rights.
Requirements for the Activity aide
Must be 18 years of age.
Must have previous activity experience.
Must be able to work up to 8pm or 9pm on occasion.
Must be familiar with Federal and State activities regulation.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
Must have knowledge of the practical application of recreation service programs.
