What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Greenbrook Medical?
Greenbrook Medical is a primary care outpatient clinic serving Medicare Advantage beneficiaries.
Looking for a full-time, experienced medical assistant to join our team to perform both clinical and administrative duties in our primary care office in Seffner, FL.
Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with lunch break 12-1pm.
Clinical duties:
- Taking and recording vital signs and medical histories
- Reviewing medication lists with patients
- Preparing patients for examination
- Performing blood draws and other lab activities
- Administering medications and/or injections as directed by a physician
- Administering EKG's and PFT's
Administrative duties:
- Phone communication with patients
- Making and confirming appointments for patients
- Submitting referrals
- Maintaining medical records
Applicants must have medical assistant certification and/or working experience as a medical assistant in a primary care clinic setting. Must be a team player, have a positive attitude, and be eager to learn!
