What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at GREENE COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER?
- PRN, varied shifts as needed
- IPERS
- Responsible for maintaining building and grounds
- Installs, maintains, and repairs hospital equipment
- Working knowledge of hospital fire, safety, evacuation and disaster procedures
- One to two years' experience in similar field required
- Inspects, installs repairs and replaces pipes, plumbing fixtures, fittings, or necessary operations
- Building Maintenance as deemed necessary, including but not limited to doors, windows, floor and furniture
- Maintains all mechanical and electrical commercial equipment
- Required: Boiler Operator certification or can obtain within 6 months of hire date
- Required: High school diploma or GED
- Required: Valid Driver's license
