Log Yard Manager Duties:
- Assist the Log Yard Manager with coordinating and delivering on log sales
- Maintaining a tidy and organized log yard
- Grading and scaling logs in a busy log yard setting
- Responsible for assisting manager with log inventory log rotation, log sorting, managing the efficient flow of logs necessary to meet sawmill flow demands
- Complete necessary paperwork and complete necessary computer work
- Reports directly to the Log Yard Manager
- Other duties as needed
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Forestry preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills with all levels of the company
- Solid understanding of basic mathematics
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to work with a number of different technologies and computer programs
- Willingness to work in an outside environment
- Anticipated Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Pay - $22 - $25/hour*
- Full time hours – typically Monday - Friday

- The advertised pay range represents what The Baillie Group believes we would anticipate paying for this position. It is not typical for an individual to be compensated at the top of the range for a position as candidates must possess experience and qualifications that far exceed the requirements.
