Greene Resources is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
Project Pursuits & Preconstruction
- Research prospective clients and assist the pursuit team with RFQ/RFP responses and interviews.
- Participate in preconstruction meetings and ensure workforce/vendor goals are incorporated into project plans.
- Oversee the QA/QC page turn process for accuracy and completeness.
Estimating & Procurement
- Perform quantity take-offs, labor production estimates, and material costing.
- Develop and verify subcontractor lists, manage bid solicitations, and evaluate bid packages.
- Prepare subcontracts, review scope inclusions, and conduct page-turn reviews with subcontractors and field teams.
Scheduling & Project Documentation
- Assist with CPM schedule creation and updates in collaboration with field staff.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, and coordination with the design team to ensure timely responses.
- Oversee project sustainability documentation and compliance requirements.
Subcontractor & Cost Management
- Monitor subcontractor performance, process change requests, and negotiate pricing.
- Track workforce/vendor goals and assist with material procurement and cost control.
- Support project accounting with cost tracking, invoicing, and monthly financial reporting.
Construction Oversight & Meetings
- Participate in site coordination meetings, pre-installation reviews, and mock-up evaluations.
- Assist in project safety, quality control, and field workforce coordination.
- Manage punch lists, commissioning processes, and final close-out documentation.
Business Development & Professional Growth
- Foster and develop relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client functions.
- Attend training for professional development and participate in company initiatives.
Position Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience building strong partnerships and trust with external partners, including owners, owner’s representatives, design firms, and subcontractors.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Thorough and detail-oriented.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task within time constraints.
- Self-starter and motivated with minimal supervision.
- Strong computer skills, including Excel.
- Estimating and field experience is a plus.
- Experience with projects that included self-performed scopes.
- Scheduling experience is preferred.
