Job Description
Position : Warehouse Fleet Tech
Location : St. Pauls, NC
Pay :
30 to $37 / hour (depending on experience)
Sign-on Bonus up to $10,000!
Experience :
5-10 years of advanced mechanical experience
Experience with air and hydraulic brake systems, air conditioning, general vehicle repair, electrical systems, battery-powered industrial equipment, and hydraulic systems
Education : High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred; CDL license preferred.
Type : Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule : Day Shift, 10 a.m. to 6 : 30 p.m.
Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Warehouse Fleet Tech to join a growing and dynamic team!
Repair electric engines, diesel motors, and propane lifts.
Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems.
Possess knowledge of air brakes and diesel engines.
Perform major repairs on fleet vehicles, including light and heavy trucks, vans, and forklifts.
Conduct diagnostic troubleshooting, problem-solving, and preventative maintenance inspections.
Train and assist other fleet technicians as needed.
Manage parts inventory, test drive vehicles, and operate forklifts.
Position Requirements :
Must pass a DOT physical before starting employment.
CDL license preferred, or ability to obtain a CDL permit within 15 business days from the hire date.
Must have personal mechanic tools and a roll-around toolbox.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a desire for growth.
Meet PBV driving qualifications.
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Basic welding skills and experience with gasoline, diesel, and propane fuel systems.
